Crown board - not painted

Designed specifically for Lyson 8 and 9 frame beehives, this versatile crown board (clearer board) is an essential tool for efficient hive management and honey harvesting.

The board can be used in combination with an 8-way bee escape to effectively clear bees from your honey super prior to extraction, helping reduce labour and minimise bee disturbance. Simply position the board beneath the super and allow the escape to do the work.

Beyond honey removal, this crown board offers flexible feeding options. It can be paired with a feeder and a 3/4 depth box, or used to support fondant or protein patties during periods of low forage, making it a practical year-round addition to your beekeeping setup.

Built to suit Lyson hive dimensions, it ensures a snug fit and reliable performance across multiple applications.
