Calm Vet for Control of Bees

Calm VET is a product designed to provide a controlled, eco-friendly and low cost method for calming down a bee colony during hive inspections or other beekeeping activities. It is an alternative to traditional smoking methods and uses a blend of herbal essential oils to affect the bees' behavior. The calming effect lasts for 10-20 minutes, which is sufficient time to perform an inspection before the hive returns to normal activity.

Composition

The product contains the following ingredients:

• Sodium (NaCl)
• Magnesium (MgCl2)
• Vitamin A
• Eucalyptus nutmeg oil
• Peppermint oil

Instructions for Use

1. Shake the sachet well before use.
2. Mix 3 ml of Calm VET with 1 liter of water.
3. Use a garden sprayer to cover the bees with the mixture, creating a "mist."
4. The amount of the product can be adjusted based on the aggression level of the bee colony.
5. Spray the hive and nearby bees 2-3 minutes before opening the hive.
6. After opening the hive, spray the bees again.
7. The mixture retains its properties for 3 days when mixed with water.
8. Calm VET can be used throughout the beekeeping season.
